Numeracy

children learn numeration; dynamic characteristics of decimal system; numbers up to 100; and introduction to the four arithmetic operations

Literacy

children learn the symbols and associated sounds in English language leading to reading and writing

Science

children explore the common characteristics of the five classes of vertebrates, parts of plants and the Geographysical makeup of the earth and physical education.
Children learn to play group games and encounter literature in a carefully selected library section of the school where beautiful picture books to early readers are available

History

Our lessons assist the child in learning about the concept of change by looking at the season, studying the weather and changing times. Children are encouraged to bring things to put in our nature area

Practical life

exercises of Practical Life bring the day-to-day activities, i.e. pouring from pitcher, lacing of shoes, polishing of mirror, setting the table and interrupting gracefully. The exercises of Practical Life cover the following main areas:
a. Elemental movements
b. Care for self
c. Care for others (both animates and inanimate relation)

Sensorial

Sensorial activities highlight physical traits as they exist in matter such as size, weight, colours, texture and aroma.
Children develop language skill by learning precise descriptive words including comparatives, address numeracy by stimulating the capacity to discriminate between essential and accidental characteristics
